Outlook:
Shammgod Wells decided to attempt the NBA draft after only 2 years at Providence College. Is a very good passer who does a great job of penetrating into the paint and then dishing to open teammates; a master at creating shots for himself and others. He is an exceptional ballhandler who possesses outstanding quickness and speed with the ball in his hands. Rarely turns the ball over, draws a lot of fouls and has very quick hands on defense. A tremendous competitor who continues to work and improve on his shot selection. Excellent anticipation on defense which translates into steals and easy baskets via fastbreaks. Quickness is his game; loves to get in the open court and run. Thrives on getting to the rim and challenging taller opponents; leading to baskets as well as free throws. True point guard who looks to distribute, yet can score when called upon and needed.
