About Terrance Dickens and Rep UR Self.
I started repurself.com for the opportunity to let basketball players and athletes promote and sell themselves to professional sports teams around the world. I am not an agent, but I have helped several players get jobs overseas from their experience playing in the IBL, where I act as Deputy Commissioner. I have several contacts with overseas teams, and several contacts with American players.
I frequently have players calling me wanting a tryout for basketball teams in the IBL or asking if I can help them get a job overseas. More often than not though, when I ask for a resume or bio and a video — it becomes an organizational challenge when some come in via DVD or various forms in the mail. In an age of technology and time management I decided to host an inexpensive and easy way for athletes to get a personalized website to promote themselves, and created RepUrSelf.com to fill that need.
Well you know what? Now it’s time for you to do it yourself.
